better late than never!

IMG_3692.JPG

I only managed to get a few Christmas cards in the mail this year, and just barely pulled that off. But I'm choosing to believe that the old adage still rings true,

better late than never!

Merry Christmas, blog friends!

save the date(s)

My sweet friend Amy recently got engaged and asked if I would help her with the print materials for her wedding. (Of course, I was thrilled to do so!) Right before Christmas I designed the Save the Dates. Amy was such a pleasure to work with (besides her being such a sweetheart naturally) because she was incredibly decisive and knew exactly what she wanted. She gave me a few examples of things she liked and wanted to incorporate, and...voila! This was the final product, I was so pleased and hope Amy was, too. (And, to boot, what a great photographer they had!)

cute, for the kitchen

These aren't the colors I have in my kitchen now, but if they were I would surely have these printed and framed and hung on the wall. They are so clever and witty, and would make me laugh every time I looked at them. I'm holding onto them, though, for a future kitchen somewhere!

You can download a free high quality image of these, too. Just click here. Thanks pinterest!

paper polite

If you're looking for adorable stationery, take a look at this: Paper Polite! My friend Addie designs the cards and they are soooo cute. You can find them online at the link above, or if you're local to NYC, they're on the shelves at Paper Presentation (and, that's big time!). Check them out.

I've already got my "thanks a ton" cards and can't wait to stock up for Valentine's Day!

want to see a beautiful interior?

The one above is by designer Lindsey Harper, who I happened to work for last fall. She is an amazingly talented designer (as you can see) and has lots of spunk and pizazz to back up her use of color and bold graphics. I feel thrilled to have had the opportunity to work on this project a tiny bit last year while she was completing it (& this is the first finished photo I've seen of it!). Definitely check out the whole article in this month's House Beautiful. The interview is fun and spirited and will give you an idea of what a blast it was working for Lindsey!

i wish i could go!

I got this in my email yesterday (thanks Anthropologie!) and almost jumped for joy! I wish it fell on a different night so I could attend. I'm dying to read this book (my friend just got it as a wedding gift at her bridal shower this past weekend) and would love to hear what the founding editor of Domino has to say. If you're in New York on Wednesday night, will you please go in my place?

out and about

This girl's dress was made out of 3form (it was a fashion show)! Pretty cool. Thanks, friends (3form, Gunlocke, and Wolf Gordon), for hosting this event (back in September)... and, of course, it was fun having the 3 Musketeers back together again.
