25 days of christmas in the city
It's another daily photo project! Since coming back from Africa and being immediately thrown into the New York City Christmas scene, I have been overwhelmed and overjoyed by the most wonderful time of the year. It is beautiful everywhere: Christmas trees, wreaths, lights...and I've decided to capture that beauty and share it. For the next 25 days in December, I'll post my favorite Christmas scene from the city.
Today's photo will be coming later tonight, check back!

happy thanksgiving!
so festive.
If this doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, I don't know that anything will.

happy halloween!
merry christmas (early) to me.
look who's famous!
Check out this picture from the Tuscaloosa News! Tate got his very own picture in the newspaper on Tuesday from his participation in the Tuscaloosa 4th of July celebrations! He looks like one smitten kid.
happy 4th of july!!!
I wish this was me on the 4th of July...but alas, it is not and I swiped it from here. Happy Independence Day, anyway!! I'm off for a day trip to Cold Spring to hike Breakneck Ridge, and will hopefully find a nice place to perch and watch the fireworks tonight. If not, I guess I'll be back in the mob trying my hand at fighting the crowds along the river. Either way, I've got a fun day in store!
4th of july craft
Design*Sponge posted this photo with a link to the tutorial on how to make this cute little 4th of July DIY craft with paint chips. It's so cute & easy... and free (which is the best part)! If I was having a party this independence day, I certainly would be adorning my walls with this. So maybe next year... but in the meantime, check it out!
