I grew up in a lovely town in Alabama with three much older siblings, a few adorable springer spaniels, and an imagination that never ceased to entertain. I lived in Tuscaloosa for most of my life before making my move to the loveliest village on the plains of Auburn, Alabama for college. 

If you've never been to the deep south, get your travel agent on the horn. There's nothing sweeter than the genteel spirit of a sweet Southern town. But don't take my word for it, try it out for yourself.
